AI & Smartphone Workshops

Hands-on workshops that build digital confidence, spark curiosity, and support wellbeing.

INSIDE THE EXPERIENCE

Two Workshops, Two Ways to Learn

Hosting is Easy

Every group is different. Some people want help with the basics, while others are ready to experiment and see what their technology can really do. That’s why we offer two different workshops.

They’re not beginner and advanced levels. They’re simply two different ways to learn. Both can be tailored to suit the interests, needs, and comfort level of the people in the room, so every group gets an experience that feels useful and relevant to them.

AI & Smartphone Essentials

This is the practical one. Participants get comfortable with useful AI and smartphone features, work through everyday tasks, and get help with the things that often cause confusion or frustration. We adjust the pace and content to match the group's needs, whether participants are just getting started or already have some experience and want to build their skills.

The goal is simple: help people leave feeling more confident using the technology that’s already part of their daily lives.

AI & Smartphone Possibilities

This is where things get a little more unexpected. Participants explore the creative and surprising things AI and smartphones can do through playful experiments and hands-on challenges. They might use AI to uncover the remarkable story behind an ordinary object. Their camera might send them looking for something they’ve passed a hundred times but never really noticed. A mysterious scent, unusual taste, or impossible question might take the workshop in a direction nobody saw coming.

The experience is shaped around the group’s interests, abilities, and appetite for adventure. People still pick up useful digital skills along the way, but the bigger goal is to spark curiosity, creativity, conversation, and connection.

Not Your Typical Technology Workshops

Neither workshop is a lecture about screen time or a tour of the latest apps. People learn by trying things, asking questions, solving problems, and seeing where their curiosity takes them.

Participants leave with useful new skills, a better idea of what their technology can actually do, and plenty of inspiration for using it to make everyday life easier and more interesting.

Your organization provides a welcoming space and brings together 10 to 12 people. We design and facilitate the entire 60 to 90-minute experience and bring everything needed. The workshop is completely free for community organizations. If you're interested in hosting a workshop, contact us to learn more.

The World in Your Pocket: Smartphones

Turn familiar features into tools for noticing, exploring, and discovering. Cameras, maps, search, audio, and everyday apps become starting points for experiences beyond the screen.

A Curious Machine: AI

Use AI as more than an answer machine. Ask stranger questions, investigate unfamiliar ideas, challenge assumptions, and see where genuine curiosity leads.

The Making of Impossible Things: Creativity

Make, transform, invent and experiment using both digital and physical tools. The goal isn't perfection. It's discovering what happens when technology helps you create instead of simply consume.

The Cabinet of Curiosities: Wonder & Awe

Unexpected tastes, scents, objects and ideas pair with AI and smartphone tools to reveal things we might otherwise miss, turning everyday technology into a way to notice more and see the familiar differently.

Back Into the World: Connection & Everyday Life

Discover simple ways to use technology as a doorway to conversations, places, experiences, people, and moments worth actually being present for.
